How to export a timelapse video
Follow the steps below to export a timelapse video.
- From the
icon in the top bar (Share & export), tap “Export timelapse”.
- Select your export settings from the Preset or Custom tab, then tap Export.
- Select a save location, and the timelapse video will be exported there.
How to configure the export format
You can configure the timelapse export format using either Preset or Custom settings.
Preset
Choose from presets designed for different uses to easily export your timelapse.
Custom
Set the aspect ratio, export size, and video length individually.
How to hide the logo watermark (Available with Pastela Plus)
To hide the logo watermark, you need to subscribe to Pastela Plus or pixiv Premium.

How to turn timelapse recording on or off
Timelapse recording for individual canvases
You can turn timelapse recording on or off for the canvas you currently have open by selecting the icon in the top bar (Share & export) > Record timelapse.
*Turning off timelapse recording for a canvas will delete all timelapse data recorded so far. This cannot be undone.
Timelapse recording for new canvases
You can choose whether timelapse recording is automatically turned on for new canvases by selecting the icon in the top bar (Settings) > Record timelapses when creating canvases.
*Changing this setting will not affect the recording settings of existing canvases, including the canvas you currently have open.
