Shortcuts allow you to streamline specific tasks, reducing the steps needed to complete an action. The Pastela app allows you to set custom triggers for your shortcuts.
*You won't be able to edit shortcuts set in the user guide until you complete the respective tasks.

Editing triggers
Follow these steps to edit shortcut triggers.
- From the top bar, tap , open the Shortcuts menu, and select the shortcut you want to edit.
- Tap Trigger.
- If you want to set a gesture...
- Choose between Two-finger tap or Three-finger tap to set your gesture trigger.
- If you want to set keyboard triggers...
- Switch to the Keyboard tab, then press the key(s) you want to assign on your keyboard.
*To assign multiple keys, press all keys at the same time.
*If you want to change the assigned key(s), simply press the new key(s) you want to set. (There is no option to delete existing keys.)
- Switch to the Keyboard tab, then press the key(s) you want to assign on your keyboard.
- Under “Trigger type”, select either “When pressed” or “When released”.
- Your shortcut trigger is now updated!
Disabling shortcuts
To disable a shortcut, open it and toggle on the Disable option. This will deactivate the shortcut.
Resetting shortcuts to default
Follow these steps to reset a shortcut to its default settings.
- Open the screen of the shortcut you want to reset and tap Default.
- This will return the shortcut to its original settings.
About trigger conflicts
While you can set the same trigger for multiple shortcuts, doing so may cause unexpected behavior.
To avoid conflicts, disable one of the shortcuts or assign a different trigger.
If you disable one of the shortcuts with a duplicate trigger, the active shortcut will continue to function normally.
